Navu Nonprofit Pricing Policy
1. Purpose
Navu is committed to supporting mission-driven organizations by making our AI chat solution more accessible. This Nonprofit Pricing Policy outlines eligibility criteria and terms for receiving a 50% discount on standard Navu subscription plans.
Navu does not offer a small business discount.
2. Discount Overview
Eligible nonprofit organizations receive a 50% discount off Navu’s standard subscription pricing
Navu reserves the right to modify or discontinue nonprofit pricing at any time.
3. Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, an organization must:
- Be a legally recognized nonprofit organization in its country of operation.
- Operate exclusively for charitable, educational, scientific, or other recognized public-benefit purposes.
- Not distribute profits to private shareholders or individuals.
- Use Navu’s services solely to support its stated nonprofit mission.
Not Eligible
The following are not eligible:
- Political organizations, parties, or lobbying groups
- Government entities or agencies
- Hospitals and healthcare systems (unless separately approved)
- Schools, universities, or educational institutions charging standard tuition (may qualify under separate education pricing if offered)
- Organizations that generate substantial commercial revenue unrelated to their nonprofit mission
Navu may approve exceptions at its sole discretion.
4. Verification Process
To receive nonprofit pricing, organizations must:
- Complete Navu’s Nonprofit Pricing Application form.
- Provide documentation verifying nonprofit status (e.g., IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter, charity registration certificate, or local equivalent).
- Provide a link to their official website.
- Confirm intended use of Navu’s services.
Navu may request additional documentation if necessary.
5. Approval & Term
- Discounts are granted for 12 months from the approval date.
- Continued eligibility must be re-verified annually.
- Navu may revoke nonprofit pricing if eligibility criteria are no longer met.
6. Proper Use
Organizations receiving nonprofit pricing agree:
- Not to resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute Navu’s services.
- Not to use the discount for projects that primarily serve for-profit affiliates or partners.
- To notify Navu if their nonprofit status changes.
7. Changes to This Policy
Navu reserves the right to update, modify, or discontinue this policy at any time. Existing approved organizations will retain their discount through the end of their current billing term unless eligibility is revoked.
