The Challenge
Cisco-Eagle provides material handling, automation, storage, safety, and related solutions for industrial facilities, with a website spanning tens of thousands of products from hundreds of vendors.
That breadth is valuable to buyers, but it also creates a challenge. Visitors often arrive with specific questions about products, specifications, applications, and pricing. The information may already exist somewhere on the site, but finding and interpreting it can take time.
For Cisco-Eagle, the goal was not to replace the human expertise already available through its live chat team. It was to make the depth of the website easier for visitors to access.
Scott Stone, Vice President of Marketing, explained the objective: “We were not trying to replace our live agents; we wanted to enhance our deep content and detailed website. Can our users find and understand our products and services? If they can… they will become customers more frequently.”
The Solution
Cisco-Eagle deployed the Navu Sidebar alongside its existing live human chat solution and integrated Navu directly with its extensive product catalog.
That gave visitors another way to navigate the site: instead of determining the right search terms, opening multiple pages, or working through a large catalog on their own, they could describe what they needed in natural language and receive an answer grounded in Cisco-Eagle’s own content.
The implementation also stood out compared with other tools the team had explored.
“For us, Navu has been a relatively simple deployment,” Stone said. “We had dabbled with alternatives that couldn’t get off the ground. By the time I requested the first meeting, Navu had already substantially worked to map and understand our content. The team is very willing to work with us and to help us build solutions. You can tell they want us to succeed.”
With Navu in place, Cisco-Eagle could give buyers immediate answers while still preserving a clear path to the company’s human experts when the visitor was ready for a conversation.

The Results
Cisco-Eagle relies on its website to generate opportunities, and Navu gave the team another way to move visitors from research to action.
“We’re always chasing conversions,” Stone noted. “We exist to generate leads, and are leveraging Navu to do that.”
One visitor interaction shows exactly what that looks like. First, a lead arrived on the Cisco-Eagle site from a Google search. On their very first pageview, they saw an option on the landing page that interested them and asked Navu for additional information.
“Can i get more informaiton, spec and pricing, on the air operator roller”
“We offer air-operated roller stops designed for automatic line control in applications like assembly workstations and shipping areas.
Specifications:
- Compatibility: Can be mounted to the underside of 190-LR, 138-ACC, 190-ACC, 190-SP, 190-ACZ, SSR, 19SR, and 20SR conveyors.
- Capacity: 1-3/8″ diameter rollers have a 50 lb. capacity; 1.7″ diameter rollers have a 150 lb. capacity (live load at 65 FPM).

For specific pricing or to request a quote, please visit our conveyor inquiry form.”
The visitor did exactly that.
After receiving the product information, specifications, and a clear next step from Navu, they clicked the link provided and immediately submitted the form to speak with an expert.
The interaction started with a Google search and became a sales inquiry within a single session. Navu did not need to replace a salesperson or live chat agent to create value. It simply answered the question standing between the visitor and the next step.
What it Means
For a company with a large, technically detailed catalog, the website does not just need to contain the right information. Visitors need to be able to find and understand that information at the moment they need it.
Navu gives Cisco-Eagle a layer between traditional website navigation and human assistance: a way for visitors to ask highly specific questions, get grounded answers, and move directly toward conversion when they are ready.
Stone also pointed to an unexpected benefit beyond just helping prospective customers: “Our own employees are using the AI chat to help them quickly find answers. We represent tens of thousands of products from hundreds of vendors. That can be a technical challenge, and Navu has helped them get answers faster.”
Now, Cisco-Eagle’s team can:
- Help visitors navigate a large, technical product catalog through natural-language questions
- Turn product research into direct paths toward quote requests and sales conversations
- Give both prospective customers and employees faster access to detailed product information
Cisco-Eagle already had the content, product expertise, and people needed to serve its buyers. Navu made that knowledge easier to access at the exact moment a question arose.
For visitors, that means less searching and a faster path to the right solution.
For Cisco-Eagle, it means more opportunities for those visitors to become leads.
This case is one example of how Navu boosts lead conversion by helping B2B companies make their websites smarter and more responsive to visitor needs. Want to learn more? Read about how Sidebar users are 4.7x more likely to convert.
