This is a complete list of the features in Navu 3.0.
Sidebar
Sidebar is the main “do” component in Navu. It provides an interactive AI guide to all or specific visitors based on audience. If integrated with Slack, it can also provide live chat to all web visitors, or limited by time-of-day and/or audience.
- The sidebar interactive guide is a specialized AI chatbot that is trained on all of your website content and is designed to have sophisticated conversations with web visitors in a way that is personalized using audience segmentation. The guide automatically adapts as content on the website changes and this is the primary way in which the guide is configured. However, the guide includes other configuration options such as configuring audience-specific questions to suggest and specific instructions for how to handle certain types of questions.
- The sidebar contact tab allows visitors, after identifying themselves, to leave a message. Navu will deliver this message as an announcement in a designated Slack channel along with context information, including the full guide conversation and journey of that visitor. If enabled, depending on configuration, Navu can also connect a web visitor to a live agent via a corresponding thread in the designated Slack channel. This availability can be limited by time-of-day and by audience.
Legacy Guides
Navu’s original content guides are still supported for both floating and banner placements. These guides present a carousel of content selections that depends on the visitor’s audience and what they have already consumed.
Navu Panel
The Navu Panel has never been used by a customer. It was designed to offer a “mini-portal” inside the customer’s own website for authorized affiliates. At least for the time-being, we will not include this in our official product family. It may return later if and when that would improve our story.
Portal
Portal is the main “see” component in Navu. Each customer site has its own portal hosted at app.navu.co. Customers with more than one site can switch between portals easily via a dropdown list. The portal is the way the customer can configure the behavior of the Navu features on their website, monitor usage, and track visitor behavior.
- The central focus of the portal is Audiences. Users can easily configure the list of audiences that Navu should use for segmenting visitors. Each audience has a set of useful analytics that tell you how that group of visitors is behaving, performing and how they are using Navu features.
- The Site page in the portal provides an overview of the site, including site-wide analytics and usage.
- A major part of the portal is Tracking — allowing customers to see every individual visitor to the website and how that particular visitor is behaving — including the content they are visiting and the conversations they are having with the guide and/or agents.
- There are other hidden gems within the portal, such as Accounts, Benchmarks, and Reports, but these are ancillary features that may be of value to advanced users.
Integrations
Navu offers integrations into certain other martech components:
- Slack: After authorizing Navu to access your Slack, this integration allows web visitors to chat with your staff via one of your channels in slack.
- Hubspot (basic): If you have Hubspot’s tracking embed code installed on your site beside Navu, then we will automatically notify Hubspot of any new contacts that we capture via the sidebar. If you use Hubspot to handle consent (cookies) management, Navu will automatically capture consent tracking information.
- Hubspot (advanced): If you authorize Navu to access your Hubspot, we will link each visitor, when appropriate, to corresponding contacts and companies in Hubspot using Hubspot cookies and email addresses.
- Marketo (basic): If you configure a marketo form ID and you have Marketo’s embed code installed on your site beside Navu, then we will automatically notify Marketo of any new contacts that we capture via the sidebar.
- Marketo (advanced): If you authorize Navu to access your Marketo, we will link each visitor, when appropriate, to corresponding contacts and companies in Marketo using Marketo cookies and email addresses.
- Salesforce: If you authorize Navu to access your Salesforce, Navu will automatically link visitors, when appropriate, to the corresponding leads, contacts, and companies in Salesforce.
- Consent Management: Navu automatically detects and integrates with leading CMPs including OneTrust, TrustArc, and Termly.
