A Great Time, Lots Learned

B2BMX 2025 was a great experience for Navu. As a sponsor, we had the opportunity to showcase our AI Sidebar product while engaging with a vibrant community of marketers, sales leaders, and product experts.

Our speaking session was packed, the booth was busy, the conversations were great, and the demos worked as expected (which if you’ve ever attended these events you know is half the battle!). The whole conference had great energy and enthusiasm, and really reinforced the growing importance of AI in the space.


Our Session: AI’s Evolving Role in B2B Websites

Our session on B2B websites and buyer behavior was a major highlight.

Probably the biggest highlight this year was our speaking session featuring and Navu’s John Greely (VP of Marketing) and Ryan Miller, SVP of Sales and Marketing at Vende (a fantastic marketing agency and trusted partner of ours). We ended up with 56 attendees in the room, and the session used real user journeys with the Navu Sidebar to examine the changing role of AI in B2B websites and the evolving expectations of buyers.

The discussion was lively, with many attendees staying late for questions (thanks to B2BMX for not kicking us out!). It just goes to show how top-of-mind AI is across all areas of marketing—not just in content creation and planning. We were thrilled with the engagement and the conversations that continued well beyond the session.


Our Favorite Conversations

Carl

Carl Hubbard, Navu’s VP of Product, particularly enjoyed reconnecting with our friends at Arctic IT, a customer we first met at last year’s B2BMX. “I loved how happy they were with our solution and how excited they were to see us again. There’s nothing quite as rewarding as customers who love your product and support it.”

He also appreciated the enthusiasm from conference attendees when showcasing Navu’s capabilities. “Seeing the excitement in people’s eyes as they realized the impact our solution could have on their marketing efforts” was another highlight for him.

Colin

For Colin Zealear, Head of Sales, the event offered a mix of great conversations, an amazing venue, and valuable insights from fellow sponsors and attendees.

He says his most memorable discussion was with a prospect—an enterprise marketer who had previously implemented a complex AI chat solution but found the experience overwhelming due to the extensive effort required for onboarding and maintaining decision trees and playbooks, in addition to a steep subscription cost.

This conversation reinforced the value of Navu’s self-training AI, which provides tangible benefits to both website visitors and marketers without the heavy lifting.

John

John found the response to our session particularly rewarding. “The case session really exceeded expectations for me, and it was great to have so many people come to the booth to talk about it. Obviously, many were leads for our product, but there were also folks who just wanted to continue the conversation about the future of AI and B2B websites. It just felt very authentic and not as much of a buyer/seller dynamic.”

He also appreciated the presence of our partners from Vende, Ryan and their CEO Paul Slack, who enthusiastically spread the word about Navu. “It’s really valuable as a marketer to hear how other people pitch your product. They bring a fresh perspective, and you can pick up a ton of new ideas and insights.”
